Wow, you guys have almost unanimously voted for the "You say weird like it's a bad thing" design to unlock next! This makes my weird little heart so happy. Because I really needed this one in my life!


I'll be honest, for a moment there the drama queen almost stole the show. But her time will come to shine, perhaps in the next vote!

There is no telling how the next vote will go as you guys have voted equally for all four remaining designs thus far! I can't wait to see who will steal the show to become the 5th unlocked design!

To celebrate, I wanted to share one of the derpy dragons I have fully illustrated which will now join the dragons in the Gilded Dragons art book, as well as the art prints!

Presenting: My weird little dragonling ^_^

Don't you just want to snuggle him? He looks so derpy and tired and lost! I just want to adopt him for myself.

It always surprizes me how much I love the final illustrations after having fallen in love with the simple pin designs. But it adds such another dimension of life to them!
I wish I could carve enough time into my days to draw all the derpy dragons as full illustrations. But alas my time this summer is running short with the other projects in the pipeline. So that dream will have to wait until the winter when life settles down a little bit.

Perhaps there will be a whole new artbook coming in the future! Who knows. I am having so much fun with these derpy creatures, I want to make many more!

Oh, and speaking of the Gilded Dragons art book, I have finally finished it and ordered my artist proof! The hardcover will have gold foil elements and a black ribbon! Here is the cover art I just finished designing ^_^

I was playing yesterday, and made these beautiful graphics for the dragons as you unlock them. Here is the first one you guys voted for.



Apparently there are a lot of book wyrms among all of you as a whopping 38% of you voted to unlock the "It's not Hoarding if it's books" derpy dragon for the second pin! (Not that I blame you, I love books as well ^_^)



This little guy will now be one of the pins you can select after the campaign ends! But there's more!
 

I am curious how this one will turn out as it was an even split between my fellow weirdos and procrastinators during the last vote.

You did it! You unlocked the 3rd 4th Derpy Dragon! The adventure is about to get interesting and a whole lot more fun!

I am so happy you guys voted him. (He's one of my top 3 personal picks)

But there's more. Yesterday some of you watched me draw the "You say WEIRD like it's a bad thing" derpy dragon during the livestream. Well, here's the final result!

Once this little guy unlocks, he will also have glow in the dark elements like the Hard mode dragon. I absolutely love this little guy. And I just ordered my T-shirt with him on it.
Speaking of shirts, my sample hoodie arrived during the livestream. But in case you missed it, here's my son wearing it.
It's super soft and cozy. And I am very happy with the quality. 😊

It's partly time! The Derpy Dragons livestream party has officially started and I just wanted to say a warm welcome to everyone who has made their way here.

You can join us here between 12pm PST and 1 or 2 pm depending how much my computer plays along.

I'm not kidding when I say I live life in hard mode. For reference, this is my setup to record:

The big screen is only there so I can read comments and so it can hold my camera. The rest will hopefully all come from my small computer.

Regardless, I have found the most difficult way to host a livestream. But that's okay, because there will be prizes!
