Exciting news! The derpies have arrived! 3 boxes of them!

They all turned out so nicely 😍.
 

Now that the Derpies have arrived, I will be charging your cards so that I can ship them as soon as I have sorted them!

Starting next week with the first batch. It'll likely take me 2-4 weeks to get them all sorted and packaged. But you should start receiving them in a few weeks. 😁

Next up, Haunted Dragons coming to Backerkit October 7th!


There will be derpies and more dragons without quotes. So save the date! As there will be free pins!

I come bearing exciting news! All the Gilded Dragons hardcovers arrived today 🥰.
Over the next week I will sign and number them ☺️. And they will ship with your pins!

In other exciting news, to those who bought hoodies & t-shirts, they have all been ordered and I received notice all of them have been shipped to you!

Looking ahead:

Waiting for pins - all the Derpies should arrive in a few weeks. And if all looks good, I'll start shipping early October! The only thing I'm waiting for are postcards. Oh and totes/wall art etc. have all been ordered!

I just returned from a week-long sailing trip with my dad and arrived not only inspired to write a brand new novel with a mermaid/sailor twist, but to an email with the first look at pins and more!

But first some important information. 

If your pledge failed to charge after the campaign, fear not. You will still get a chance to claim your pledges by completing your survey. Cards won't be charged immediately. But it will get charged when I process shipping and add-ons sometime late September/early October. 

My manufacturer sent me these proofs of some of the pins:

While not the best quality photos, I am thrilled with how they look so far! (We're still missing a couple, but I'll share those when I get them)

I also received my sample derpy & book wyrm blankeys and I am in love! They are not only good quality prints and beautiful, but oh so soft & snuggly!

And last, but definitely not least, the last derpy sticker arrived!

I feel like I'm hitting the ground running since getting back from my trip. But in only 2 weeks my next campaign launches! I pre-ordered the pins, and you are the first to see them!

The first picture is a glow-in-the-dark 2" pin which will have its own tier as well as an add on to the books. The second is the 2 collaborative pins you can claim either as an add-on or FREE when you back both me and my partner! The third picture is the pin I designed for her pin tier.

So save the date & follow the campaign! I'll share a super secret backer update link to existing backers to back early on Sept 3rd. You'll have 48 hrs to claim one of the secret super backer tiers! But these will be limited to the first 50 backers. So keep your eyes on that email update!



Another exciting project I've been working on is my Patreon monthly pin tiers. Perfect for those who love monthly happy-mail.

Starting September 2024 you can join and get one of the limited edition Muse pins! These will be available exclusively through my Patreon. This specific pin design will be limited to the first 250 Muses. After they are gone, I'll design a brand new exclusive to Patreon pin. And they will be the first pin you receive when you join. They will get mailed out the last week of September/first week of October (once I get them from the manufacturer).

Plus, as a Patreon you get early access to all my art as well as some exclusive art.

Greetings Hoarders,

I'm back from my camping trip and arrived to two very exciting packages! 

Firstly, thank you for everyone who already completed your surveys! We're at 87% completed! 

We unlocked the limited edition derpy dragon backer pin! I ordered only 50, so if you missed adding it, you still can. But once they are gone, they are gone forever.


Now for the second exciting news, the first 10 derpy stickers have arrived 🥰😍.

Other than stickers, I have approved all the final pin designs and placed the order from my manufacturer. It'll be about 6-8 weeks to arrive back to me. 😊 (About September 17-20.)

(I may, or may not have derpies everywhere now...)

Another exciting arrival has been my Gilded Dragons art book proof! And I am in love 😍😍😍

 

Yes, even some derpies snuck in there! (But only 2, as I plan to make a fully illustrated derpy dragon art book 😊)

While I await the pins, I'll be placing the order for all the art books now. I'm also going to lock orders with hoodies & t-shirts and order those in the next week or two. As mentioned previously, these will be shipped directly from the manufacturer as I do them as print on demand. So chances are you will receive these before the pins.

I just wanted to touch base with you guys about a few questions that have arisen from the surveys. 

Please complete your survey as soon as possible. We're currently at 75% and I would like to get to 85% to order the pins so I know how many we need!

The 3x3 "Shadows are Friends" sticker has officially been unlocked. However, it's not a part of the all-in set of 10 stickers.

We are only 3 backers away from unlocking the exclusive limited edition 2024 pin.
I will be closing this stretch goal as soon as I place the order for the other pins. Which will be either Monday the 5th or next Saturday the 10th (depending when I hear back from my manufacturer as I've had to increase some pins due to popularity 😊). So if you wanted to snag this one, don't wait. 

One of the questions I received was about the All-in 10+ tiers.
 

Since we only "unlocked" 10 pins as a part of the campaign, these tiers will only have 10 pins because we didn't get the next stretch goal (which would have been the 11th pin). 

The 11th design is a custom pin order which was a part of a backer's order, and unfortunately not automatically a part of the tier, eventhough you can choose it as one of the 10 pins if you liked that design. 

I apologize for the confusion this might have caused. And I hope this helps clarify things a little.

Just a reminder that hoodies and t-shirts will be shipped separately from your other items. In order to save both on shipping and to reduce my carbon footprint, these will be shipped directly from the manufacturer. I do clothes on a print on demand basis because it helps reduce fast fashion waste as well as means that I don't need a hundred boxes of clothes in stock.

My Gilded Dragons artbook proof has officially been shipped to me. So I should have some pictures soon. 😊

I have all other books in stock and these should all be ready for shipping when I ship out the derpies. 

As a reminder, my campaigns are the only way to get signed copies of my books (other than in person events), and I have only a few 1st edition copies left of my novels. 

I'm having a lot of fun playing with these derpies, and in a way they have invaded my life. I just made these backpacks and purses for myself, and it occurred to me you guys might like them too. 

I didn't add these as add-ons as I didn't have my samples yet, but they are available on my website.
