Greetings hoarders,

Can you believe we're down to the final hours? I'll be honest, part of me doesn't want this campaign to end because I'm enjoying hanging out with you guys and talking about dragons.

While I was reflecting on the derpy dragons and plotting future dragons, I *might* have done some shopping and accidentally bought those derpy dragon stickers we were talking about. All 10 Derpy dragon designs are now available as 3x3 sticker add-ons!

But, I only ordered 100 of each design. So if you were waiting for these derpy stickers, now's your chance to add them to your pledges before the campaign ends! They will be available in the pledge manager as well, but I can't guarantee how the stock will look as I'm not planning to restock anytime soon. 

So go hoard those sticky derpies! (Bonus: every derpy you add gets us that much closer to unlocking the last two designs and that FREE pin!

I also come with a slight dilemma...(because I'm indecisive)
The text on the common sense dragon has to be UV screen printed, but I can't decide on the colour...so it's your vote which you prefer!

When common sense is not so sensical...

Greetings Hoarders,

I can't believe we have only 3 days left!
And I managed to get the 10th derpy dragon design finished just in time. Presenting the "Have you tried common sense" derpy. The hardest of all of them to conceptualize due to limited reference resources out there 🤔.

I tried to incorporate as many suggestions as possible as you guys voted on a "combination of everything" 🤣 (way to be indecisive, you were supposed to guide me🤣).
For this one's text, I have to UV print the text to make it readible.

All the derpies look so cute together!

I'm already plotting where I should display them!
(The answer is everywhere! I'll probably keep like 3 or 4 each for multiple displays, it's purely for 'marketing' purposes, not because I'm obsessed with dragon pins at all...)

Greetings Hoarders,

You guys did it! You officially unlocked all 8 original designs! And we are well on our way to the 9th.

We're in the home stretch, with 2 more possible designs to unlock. And based on your vote yesterday, most of you all wanted a purple not-a-damsel. So here she is.

And off course I just HAD to request glitter. Which will make her the 3rd special effect dragon once we unlock her. It was really hard keeping the colours to 8...almost impossible. So her shirt & art print will look a tiny bit different.

Well, what do you think? She will likely be fully rendered (I mean chances are all of them will eventually be, but she's up there on my list.) I think my favourite part is still her smirk.

Next I need to draw the common sense dragon, and you guys all had wonderful suggestions. But he's definitely still percolating in my mind for his final look. In the meantime you can vote on his colour. Keep in mind he's a sea dragon.

I can't believe this campaign is almost done! This has been the most fun I've ever had with a campaign, and it's all thanks to you guys playing along and interacting with my posts and polls. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being my tribe and the most epic people an artist can ask for!

I'll be back tomorrow, hopefully with the final derpy!

We did it! We unlocked another design! Plus not-a-damsel first look.

Greetings Hoarders,

While I was spending much needed time with my family yesterday, you guys unlocked the 7th design! Which means that the drama-dragon design will now be joining the hoard as a pin. 🥰😍🥰



I never doubted you would unlock it and we are so close to the 8th one. Just as I have no doubt we will unlock the final three designs. Speaking of which, based on your votes, here are the preliminary sketches for the not-a-damsel dragon!

Introducing the "not-a-damsel" sketch. She will be the 9th design we unlock.

As I drew the first lines of her face U burst out laughing. These dragons have brought so much laughter and fun into my life. And I'm so happy I can share them with you!

I tried to combine as many of the things you guys voted for. I'm thinking she might need a larger head though 🤔. I love everything about her, especially her little flared pinky holding the tutu 🥰.

Today you get to vote on her colours. Now I've been told that pink bunny slippers were non-negotiable by my husband and daughter. (I was originally going to let you vote, but alas my family put up  with my shenanigans so they should get some say). Which means you guys need to vote on the colours of the dragon herself. So help me decide. What colour is our little not-a-damsel? Vote below!

And for today's question, if you could be a dragon, what kind would you be and where would you live? 
I'd be a shapeshifter, because I do love creating art as a human. Though I would likely find a library to live in as my lair.

Greetings Hoarders,

Well it seems that we all love slippers and tiaras...so the "not-a-damsel" derpy dragon will have both! (And a tutu 😊)

I'll try to get a sketch for you by the end of the weekend 😊. But first I need to get some commissions off my plate as I had a sudden rush of authors for Booktopia! 

While you wait for the sketch, help me figure out the common sense dragon. 

Is the derpy dragon a wizened dragon who actually has commin sense, or is he more like his kin with no common sense? 

I've come to the conclusion that representing "common sense" visually is as elusive as a dragon. This one is definitely a wild card for how it will turn out!

In other exciting news, we are ONLY 1 BACKER AWAY from unlocking the 7th dragon 🐉 🥰😍. And so close to the 8th! 

So if you know anyone who needs derpy Dragons in their life, share the campaign with them! 

I won't be making an update tomorrow or possibly on Sunday as I'll be spending it with my family and at a farmer's market. So I'll be back again on Monday with the next vote and a derpy sketch or two 😊
